Description

Daniel Talmor, M.D., M.P.H., is chair of the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and the Edward Lowenstein Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Talmor’s research interests are centered on the early identification and treatment of critically ill patients, with a particular focus on the optimal delivery of mechanical ventilation. He has published over 250 peer reviewed papers He has lectured extensively around the world. Dr Talmor has received multiple honors. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and an elected member of the Association of American Physicians. He has been awarded the Distinguished Investigator Award by the American College of Critical Care Medicine and been appointed as a visiting professor at by the French Ministry of Health.
